Liberty Learning Centers Inc. (Formally Little Winners Child Development Center) was founded in 1994 by Rose Johnson. A leader in the field with over 40 years of experience, this mother of 4, and Grammy of 8 and Great Grammy to 2 (hopefully more to come!) has taken her knowledge and skills to create a program that has the ability to teach the kids as a group, but allow the individual child to blossom and grow!
Jenn, Rose's oldest daughter has enjoyed working in this family childcare business since 1994! As a mother of 3, Gigi to 2 grandbabies, and over 27 years of experience has lead to keeping up with current trends in early education!
Rose and Jenn continue to work together to encourage the continuation of the skills that work for the children, training the teachers, and building a program that stands out leaps and bounds in the community! We are looking forward to meeting you and your child!
Hey! My name is Heather. I have worked at Liberty Learning Centers since 2015. I currently teach Kindergarten and Kindergarten Prep! I love my job and take pride in the success of my students. My name is Sara and I'm from Eatonville, Washington. I have lived in the Graham/Spanaway area my whole life. I have been with Liberty Learning Centers since May of 2016. I teach preschool and kindergarten prep. I have 6 kids (4 biological). Family is everything to me. We like to go camping, boating and wheeling. I love crafting and coaching youth soccer and volleyball. Someday I would love to travel the world.
I’m Hattie, on my days off I enjoy walks with my two dogs, Stanley and Stella, spending time with my family & friends, or just relaxing at home with my dogs & cats:)
When I was a bit younger I volunteered in the Preschool for my church’s VBS and took a lot of pride in having that responsibility. That experience sparked a joy in me and made me realize the love I have for working with kids! My senior year of high school I coached a junior cheerleading team, and also nannied 3 kids everyday for an awesome family. That job taught me a lot. It shaped an understanding for me, towards the way children interact with others based off of how they are treated. I do my best everyday to lead a good example, and encourage patience, positivity and kindness!

Mission Statement: It is the mission of Liberty Learning Centers Inc. to provide quality early childhood education and care that will nurture children spiritually, academically, and socially in an environment where Jesus Christ and Christian values are placed first.
Vision Statement: A quality environment where children and families are valued for their individuality. Children are safe to express themselves through their wonder, curiosity, growth and play. Families are recognized as their child’s first and most important teacher.
Program Philosophy: We believe that children need a stimulating environment that encourages learning and socialization through developmentally appropriate activities to create a positive foundation for future academic and social development. We provide a loving and nurturing environment that encourages play based exploration and learning for children at a time when they are learning so much about themselves and the world around them. We present our curriculum with the perspective that God is the creator of all. Yet we value diversity and welcome families of all ethnic, cultural, religious and socio-economic backgrounds. Our program is child centered emphasizing a developmental, hands on approach to learning. With nurturing and individual guidance we offer each child the opportunity to participate in a balanced program covering areas such as social- emotional, cognitive, and physical and growth. We ensure each child feels safe, secure, happy, and is nurtured in an environment created to encourage positive self-esteem and learning through play.
We hold an understanding and respect that all children grow, learn, and develop in unique patterns. With this knowledge we feel that it is important to provide constructive, supportive, and honest feedback.
By providing a comfortable, nurturing environment that enables us to offer excitement and a challenging eagerness to learn. Each child’s work space is respected.
Our curriculum provides core learning skills, and the opportunity to maximize each child’s potential growth. The content of the curriculum utilizes the strengths and interests of our staff, providing the enjoyment of teaching, and positive interactions between staff and children. We also believe in flexibility of approach, resources, scheduling, and content.
When open communication is encouraged between home and center, the best care possible for the children is obtained. A partnership between everyone involved that includes respect, thoughtfulness, empathy, and responsibility for self and others, creates the best care available for the children and their families
